Be Yourself.....
It is such a cliche quote. When your an insecure and shy person this makes absolutely no difference.  It one of those things that when you are going through it you don't think it is that easy. And it isn't. It takes a lot of courage and strength to be true to yourself when the world around you is anything but that. But, rather it is full of fakers, who are all copies of each other. We are so busy trying to fit in but in reality if you don't fit in you are doing something right. It means that your are different from the mindless clones that make up this world. To be yourself in this world does show strength, to stand up for yourself and what you love and believe in. It takes courage to be yourself, our in-built fears stop us from being. Well guess what... There will never be another you, we only get one life don't wait for  permission to do what you love.
Never try to hide who your are, the only shame is to have shame. Stand up for what you believe in. Always question what other people tell you. Never regret the past, its a waste of time, everything happens for a reason. Every mistake, every moment of weakness, every terrible thing that has happened to you...Grow from it.  The only way you can gain respect from others is when you show them that you respect yourself. Do your thing, whatever it may be, and never apologise for being you.
Its hard...really hard, people will always put you down. People will always have their opinions of you no matter who you are, so remember you were born an original don't die a copy. Life is too short to do otherwise.
